CJC-1295 is a Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone made up of a 30 amino acid peptide chain. The CJC , for those that may be wondering, is actually an abbreviation for the company that first synthesized this peptide.
CJC-1295 is a peptide that bonds to the Ghrelin Receptor. This receptor was previously commonly known as the Growth Hormone Secretagogue Receptor accurately so. The activation of this receptor triggers a release of GH and a corresponding increase in igf.
In Vivo GHRH similar to CJC-1295 is released from the hypothalamus and then goes on to stimulate the Ghrelin/ GHSR. In our research the introduction of peptide CJC-1295 exhibits the same effect on these receptors. Eliciting the GH release often desired in our research.
What makes CJC-1295 different from other GHRH peptides is the addition of the Drug Affinity Complex. What this addition does is extend the half and active life dramatically of this compound. This is accomplished by establishing a covalent bond between the compound and serum albumin in the blood. Without the DAC the half and active lives are extremely short , ie: 30 mins , with the DAC researches achieve the desired results in their research subjects with once a week administration.
There is another difference that bears mentioning when it comes to CJC-1295 vs other GHRH’s. The steady rate at which this peptide exerts its effect has resulted in a very stable effect on other hormones normally impacted by GH release. For example, when there is a GH pulse, there is often a corresponding pulse, or increase, in both cortisol and prolactin. Due to the steady, stable release of CJC-1295 there is minimal to zero effect on cortisol and prolactin.
CJC-1295 has been proven in research to be a potent compound which induces GH release and corresponding increases in igf well above normal physiological levels observed in research subjects.
