Melanotan II is a very interesting compound for our research. It induces the body to tan, increases sexual desire and libido as well as enhances erectile function. It also seems to play a role in fatloss.

While the initial goal in synthesizing MTI and MT II was to reduce the potential for getting skin cancer , the effects of this compound have obviously gone much farther than that. Researchers goal was to “imitate‶ the naturally occurring hormone a-MSH , what they ended up with in MT II is a compound 1000x more powerful than a-MSH.

Melanotan II was the second generation development of Melanotan I.
